Shipping, Returns, and Exchanges Policy

At The Tenuiflora Shop, we’re committed to securely packaging and shipping your order in a timely manner. Orders are now automatically placed through tenuibotanics.com using ShopPay (powered by Shopify). You will be redirected when clicking 'Buy Now'.

1. Shipping Information

  1. Domestic Shipping

    • Carriers: We ship via USPS Priority Mail or USPS Ground Advantage (you’ll see your options at checkout).
    • Processing Time: We typically process orders in 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
    • Delivery Estimates:
      • USPS Priority Mail usually delivers within 2-3 business days after shipment and comes with up to $100 of insurance included.
      • USPS Ground Advantage generally delivers in 2-7 business days depending on your location and may not include insurance unless purchased separately.
    • No Next-Day Shipping: We do not offer next-day shipping to ensure our team has enough time to prepare and package orders properly.
  2. Shipping Costs

    • Calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and shipping destination.
    • Shipping promotions or discounts will be clearly indicated at checkout.
  3. Package Delivery and Responsibility

    • Once a package is marked “delivered,” we consider our part complete. If it’s stolen after delivery, we cannot replace or refund it. We recommend shipping to a secure location.
    • If your package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please let us know at team@tenuiflorashop.com, and we’ll work with USPS to file a claim or find a resolution.
      • USPS Priority Mail includes up to $100 insurance for lost or damaged items.
      • USPS Ground Advantage does not include insurance unless added at an extra cost.

2. Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase, but we also need to maintain the integrity of our products.

  1. Eligibility

    • 14-Day Window: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
    • Condition: Items must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging, with at least 90% of the product remaining.
    • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or order confirmation is required for all returns.
  2. Non-Returnable Items

    • Opened or used products
    • Items returned without authorization or after the 14-day window
    • Sale or clearance items
  3. Return Process

    1. Contact Us: Email team@tenuiflorashop.com with your order number and reason for return. If approved, we’ll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
    2. Ship It Back: You’re responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable service to avoid lost-package issues.
    3. Inspection & Refund:
      • Once we receive and inspect the item, we’ll notify you if it’s approved.
      • Refunds (minus original shipping costs) are typically issued to your original payment method within 7-10 business days of approval.

3. Exchanges

We understand you might prefer an exchange rather than a refund in some cases.

  1. Exchange Eligibility

    • Exchanges follow the same 14-day window and unopened/unused criteria as returns.
    • We cannot exchange items that are opened, used, or on clearance/sale.
  2. Exchange Process

    1. Request Authorization: Email us at team@tenuiflorashop.com with your order number and reason for the exchange. If approved, we’ll send you an RMA number.
    2. Send It Back: Ship the item at your own expense using a trackable method. Include the RMA number on or in the package.
    3. Inspection & Reship:
      • Once received and inspected, we’ll confirm if the product is eligible for exchange.
      • If approved, we’ll ship the new product to you at no additional cost (excluding any price differences if you choose an item that costs more).

4. Fraud Protection and Dispute Resolution

  • We reserve the right to refuse or limit returns/exchanges if we suspect fraudulent or abusive behavior.
  • All returned items are inspected for compliance with our policy.
  • We aim to resolve disputes amicably. Any unresolved matters will follow applicable U.S. laws.

5. International Shipping

We currently only ship within the United States. Unfortunately, we do not ship to APO, FPO addresses, or international destinations at this time.
